Well, how is the young social worker? Did you get hitch to someone already?
Here am I, so lonely and bare. I need someone to cheer pero wala (but there is none). How about your new friends, say ipakilala mo ako as pen-pal (introduce me to them as a pen-pal).
I was busy last week for we had our town congress. We were always in church to pray the Holy hour. Besides, we are having Saturday classes to pay a week vacation during the National Congress there in Manila. I am planning to come home. I am so homesick very homesick.
How is everyone? You never made mention about them. I am all ears of any news at home. Asiong is not writing me. Vicky too seldom write. How is Luz and Junior?
Here, I do not have anything to do but write lesson plans and correct themes. I feel the monotony of this work.
Are you going to Camiling (in Tarlac)? Kindly tell Atty. Amador Casino that my co-teacher wrote a letter. She wants to be his pen-pal (alam mo na kalokohan naman [you know this is nonsense I’m sure]). Tell him also to answer. I hope he won’t mind my giving his name to my co- teacher, Miss Cunio(?).
Now, tell me about yourself. I want to hear about new friends there. How about the flame in Mangatarem (in Pangasinan). I hope he is still writing.
Fe, Kindly lend me your Florante – Laura book. Wala ako rito (I don’t have it here). How about telling the type of test. I shall take also the clerical test here. Say, when will you send the picture during Luz birthday. I want a copy of my face(?).
How is Dely and the little girls?
Magsaysay (Ramon) is in Tacloban now. I can’t go there. Wala pa kaming sueldo (We still don’t have our salary).
I guess I will stay stagnant here always.
Before I forget please let me know of the deadline of the contribution for the seats. I am worried because our Sept. pay is not yet given. I have many deductions because of contributions. We are always given a quota which could not be paid by students so sa akin lagpak ang bayad (I ended up paying for them).
